ASOR ANNUAL MEETING 2022 - PRESENTER INFORMATION

On this page you will find tutorials on submitting your pre-recorded presentation, creating and uploading presentations, best practices documents, virtual office hours, and contact information.

Paper presentations are due by September 23 as pre-recorded .mp4. Presentations are submitted through the SUBMISSION PAGE. Please note: this is only for papers, workshops, and poster presentations that have been officially accepted to ASOR's 2022 Academic Program. This is not for submitting new abstracts or proposals.

VIRTUAL OFFICE HOURS

ASOR is holding virtual office hours in September & October to help with anyone who needs “live” support via Zoom. Please contact Jared Koller [jaredkoller@asor.org] to sign-up for a time.  

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS

  • ASOR is providing a template slide that is required to be the first slide for all Virtual Annual Meeting presentations regardless of the format (.mp4, .pdf, .ppt., .pptx) | DOWNLOAD ​​​​​​

  • The maximum time for pre-recorded paper presentations is 20 minutes

  • Are you presenting in Workshop (designated by the word "Workshop" in parentheses on the program)? Workshop presentations are a maximum of 10 minutes and will be given live or recorded and played-back during the online. Check with the workshop organizer(s) for instructions about the presentation format.

LOGGING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME

RECORDING USING MICROSOFT POWERPOINT

Once you have finished recording your presentation select File > Export, then Create Video.
